Superfood that changed my life

As your Superfood chef, I feel an obligation to all my followers to give you the knowledge that was bestowed on me. We are faced with so many challenged these days, our food should not be one of them ,it’s our right to speak up for ourselves and demand a better standard of food- not to be poisoned, polluted and forced to live with disease.

Today most of  our babies are fed corn syrup in the first months of their lives (check your baby formula for ingredient list) Genetically Modified Food corn syrup which these days is the first ingredient in formula causes many health complications,  Jeffrey M. Smith author of the book “Seed of deception” links GM food  to toxins, allergies, infertility, infant mortality, immune dysfunction, stunted growth, and death. He also writes about  how the “FDA withheld information from Congress after a genetically modified supplement killed nearly a hundred people and disabled thousands”. Our animals are treated with hormones to grow faster, bigger, fatter. Just like us fatter, bigger and completely disengaged for any kind of compassion for these animals that feed us.   The food and drug association and Monsanto’s are the food mafia; they are poising us to line their pockets with gold.

It the year 2012 when Mayan civilization predicted the end of the world-as we have known it to be-is  a very special moment in time when have a chance to evolve as a civilization or we are going to auto destroy our race. We have a chance to “crossover” – How sad would it be to say that we went from the Mayans, ancient Egyptians, to self obsessed, obese and sick individuals. And we caused our know extinction- just like the times of Noah Art  (Hurricane Katrina, Tohoku earthquake)

Our religions are based on a better afterlife but what about the importance of a fabulous life now!. Heaven was meant to be created by the choices we make in the present!   I myself once lived in own bulimia hell so I began scratch the surface, that surface broke like ice over a frozen lake, to my surprise as soon as  I began eating organic, free-range animals and produce slowly my 17 year nightmare began to irradiate itself.

Many years go my doctors told me I would never be normal, my digestive system was so damage by the 150 laxatives I took daily that I would probably need surgery every few years. Today, I go to the bathroom about 3 times a day.  Superfoods like mesquite, hemp, marijuana, maca, acai, chia, coconut, camu camu, forbidden rice, lucuma, goji, healed my body, mind and spirit.  Many of these foods were used in ceremonies all over the world by different cultures to celebrate the Gods and the Goddess, to thank to them for granting them the  abilities to perform sexual, physical, mentally and spiritual.   These foods DNA and intelligence is extraordinary! Take the coconut tree as an example it produces milk, oil, water, fruit, sugar, it’s milk is pure enough to feed your baby after breast milk, imagine what it does to you when you consume it- ofcourse organic.

I would like to share some wonderful recipes and bathes that helped me on my journey of self discovery, re-invention, healing and finally to my goal weight.

Hibiscus Bath this bath is to empower yourself and take control of your life

In a warm bath add 7 hibiscuses and a ½ a vanilla pod, a handful of Himalayan Salts.

Staying lean is very important to keep a stable and balance mind.

Apricot Salmon and Saffron rice

1 wild salmon fillet

3 garlic cloves

3 apricot

1/3 cup of apricot kernel oil (Wholefoods)

Himalayan salt

3 hibiscus flowers or 7 dried.

In a food processor mince the apricots (with no pit), garlic and apricot kernel oil. Lightly salt the fish the brush apricot mix over the salmon.  In a medium pot ½ full of filter water bring the hibiscus flowers to a boil. Then steam the salmon it over hibiscus flower water (in a collard or a veggie steamer serve it with apricot saffron rice.

2 cups of water

1 cup of organic basmati rice

6 apricot chopped in small pieces

5 saffron threads

Pink salt

1 tbsp of coconut oil

Bring to a boil the water with the saffron and salt. Add washed rice boil until the water is almost evaporated. Lower the heat to a minimum drizzle the oil over the rice cover and let it open for a minute of two stir in the chopped apricots.

I personal love my flavored eggs. I scramble 2 eggs with cinnamon or nutmeg, cayenne pepper, pink salt, chia seeds. It keeps my sprints high and body lean.

For that very special romantic dinner one of my signature dishes

Amazon Acai chicken and vanilla forbidden rice

1 cup black  rice

(aka wild or forbidden rice), washed

3 hibiscus flowers dried or fresh or 1tsp of hibiscus tea

2 cups filtered water

¼ tsp of Himalayan salt

½ vanilla pod, slice lengthways and scrape the paste from the inside.

1 tsp coconut oil

2 tbsp acai powder

In a medium pot bring the water and hibiscus flowers to a boil with a pinch of Himalayan salt.  Add the rice and vanilla paste with the pod and cover.  Simmer until the liquid Is almost completely absorbed. This usually takes approximately 15 ~ 20 minutes.

In the meantime dissolve the acai powder into the coconut oil. Reduce the heat to a low, drizzle the oil over the rice and cover again for 2 minutes. This procedure will open the rice. Remove from heat.

Remove the vanilla pod and hibiscus flowers from the rice and serve hot.

3 chicken breasts

2 tbsp acai powder

1 tsp vanilla essence

15 oz light coconut milk

Pre-heat oven at 350F (176C)

Use a deep baking tray, 8” x 8” (10 x 10 cm). Place in the oven to heat the dish while preparing the chicken

Chop chicken into cubes (approx. ½“ or 1 cm) and lightly salt them.

In a bowl beat the acai powder with the coconut milk and vanilla until fully dissolved and milk is purple. You can add the cinnamon stick here if you choose. Remove baking tray from oven, evenly place the chicken inside and pour the purple coconut milk over the top. Stir and return to the oven for 30 to 45 minutes according to the size of the chicken. Stir every 10mins. Remove from the oven.
